Love at First Sight - Hudson Fisher

Hudson made his entrance into the world at 8 lbs, 20 and 1/2 inches, and was absolutely adorable and perfect! There was a flurry of activity that followed - the first feeding and bath in the recovery room, the return to the suite where Savannah and Hudson would stay, and then excited greetings from family. Nonna and Grandpa Dan (Ryan's parents) came first, then Momzi and Papa (Savannah's parents) followed with Harper, Ryan and Savannah's little girl. They were both excited and apprehensive to see what Harper's reaction would be. As you'll see in these photos it was a beautiful moment. Her face just lit up! As grandparents and parents cuddled the new baby, took pictures, sent proud texts, and smiled from ear to ear, I was overwhelmed by the reality that when someone that we've never even met enters the world as ours, our hearts are automatically overflowing with love for that new tiny person. It is simply beautiful. Ryan and Savannah: Thank you for allowing me to share this incredible day with you. I pray that Hudson will grow strong, healthy, and happy. I know that he will never want for love.

Welcome to the World, Hudson Fisher

There are few powerful moments in life that can evoke a flow of tears and a huge smile at the same time. The immensity of a new person being introduced into the world is definitely one of them! This is the continuation of the story of Hudson's birth. Words can't really describe how amazing the experience was. Savannah's C-section went very smoothly. Ryan was such a sweet and supportive husband, gripping Savannah's hand and holding on to her throughout almost the entire process. Savannah remained calm and excited - the only tears shed were tears of joy when Hudson made his appearance. As I said...words can't do it justice...so I'll stop trying. You can see for yourself...

Tomorrow I'll share with you the moments when Hudson's family (including his adorable big sister) welcome him and celebrate this growing family!
